Hugh Raynal

Principal

Hugh Raynal is the principal of the busy law practice of Raynal & Associates situated in the Templestowe Shopping Village. Hugh was first admitted to legal practice in 1989 and, with the exception of two years spent working as a legal editor, has spent most of the past twenty years in suburban legal practice.

During this time he has acquired and developed expertise in all areas of general legal practice, most notably in family law, commercial and business law and litigation, and wills and probate. He is able to use that experience to assist clients in resolving the disputes and problems they are faced with both commercially and privately. Being admitted as a Barrister and Solicitor of the Victorian Supreme Court in 2000, Hugh has extensive experience in the Courts of Victoria, often conducting Court appearances himself in the Family Court, Federal Magistrates Court, and Victorian Magistrates Court.

He is able to run, coordinate and assist clients in achieving their goals, and no matter is too big, too small, or too complex.

Outside of the law, Hugh doggedly supports the Blues and enjoys weekends camping with his family.

Meryn Ryan

Conveyancer

Meryn is in charge of all conveyancing matters at Raynal & Associates. Having joined Raynal & Associates in January 2006, Meryn completes transactions for purchasers and vendors in all areas of conveyancing in a competent, friendly, and efficient manner.

She prepares vendor statements, contracts of sale (both by private treaty and auction) caveats, plans of subdivision, applications by surviving proprietors and legal personal representatives, and many of the numerous other documents required to offer a complete conveyancing service.

Outside of the law, Meryn supports the Tigers and otherwise spends her time with her family.
